1 Register as a User
First, register as a OnlineNepal.Net user by providing your contact information and selecting a username and password. Your personal information is protected and will not be shared. You will only need to register once. After registering, your login will give you private access to your own account allowing you to return at your leisure.
2 Choose the Recipient and the Amount
Once you have registered, indicate how much money you would like to send and provide your recipient’s contact information. You have 3 delivery options: 1) money will be delivered directly to the recipient at home, 2) money will be deposited into a specified bank account, or 3) money will be made available for pick-up by the recipient. Note: Your recipient does not need an internet connection to receive funds. You may also send your recipient a personal message.
3 Choose the Method of Payment
You can charge the amount you would like to send by deducting the money from your bank account or by using your credit or debit card. All the information you provide will be stored in your electronic wallet and is encrypted for your protection. Note: There is a 3.15% surcharge for all credit or debit card transactions. OnlineNepal.Net generally encourages you to use the credit card payment option only for emergency purposes.
4 Initiate the Transfer
You have the option of sending your money transfer for immediate processing or for a later date. We will process the transaction as instructed and securely send the money to your family, friends or business associates. You will receive a message stating that the transaction was successful.

DELIVERY OPTIONS THROUGH ATM
OnlineNepal.Net further expands its delivery options through Smart Money! Aside from Door to Door delivery, Bank Deposit, and Pickup from Cebuana Lhuillier branches, your recipient can now receive your remittance through the convenience of Smart Money. Your recipient does not need to be a Smart subscriber, in fact he/she does not need to have a cellphone to have a Smart Money account! If your recipient is already a Smart Money account holder, you can simply click on the Smart Money link in the Delivery Method options and input his/her Smart Money Account number. If your recipient does not have a Smart Money account yet, you can get one for him/her now! Simply click on the Smart Money link in the Delivery Method options, fill up the necessary information, and we will create a Smart Money account for your beneficiary.
STEP BY STEP GUIDE ON HOW THE SMART MONEY DELIVERY OPTION:
* Log-in to the OnlineNepal.Net website and to your account
* Click on Send Money link
* Enter amount you wish to send and click on the continue button
* Click on Add a New Recipient button
* In Delivery Method options, select Smart Money and click on the Add a New Recipient button again
* IF YOUR RECIPIENT ALREADY HAS A SMART MONEY ACCOUNT, simply fill out all the necessary information needed including your recipient’s Smart Money account number
* IF YOUR RECIPIENT DOES NOT HAVE A SMART MONEY ACCOUNT YET, simply fill out all the necessary information needed, leaving the space provided for the Smart Money account number blank. We will process the information and email you a system generated Smart Money account number for your recipient.

* Continue by selecting or adding your payment information

Sender
Anyone with internet access can use OnlineNepal.Net to send money to Nepal. You can charge the amount you would like to send to your credit or debit card or deduct the money directly from your bank account.
Recipient
Anyone in Nepal can receive money through OnlineNepal.Net. The recipient does not need internet access or a bank account to receive the funds. You have the option of selecting whether you want the money delivered in person, deposited into a bank account or made available for pick-up by your recipient. |

| HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE? |

First Time User
If you are a first time user of OnlineNepal.Net we require three (3) business days to verify your account information. We may contact you directly by telephone to ensure that your information is complete. If you fail to provide the correct information your account may be terminated. This verification process has been implemented for your own protection to safeguard against fraud. At OnlineNepal.Net we are always concerned with the security of your personal information.
Repeat Customer
If you are a repeat customer your account information has been previously verified. Thus, the remittance will be immediately submitted for processing.
Processing Time
After your account information has been verified as accurate your remittance will be processed. The money will be disbursed to your recipient in the Nepal through direct deposit, pickup at one of our locations or Home Delivery, depending upon your preference.
Bank Deposit
If you choose this option the funds will be deposited directly into the recipient’s bank account. OnlineNepal.Net will deposit the funds into the recipients’ bank account one day after completion of the account information verification process. Remember, if you are a repeat customer the account information verification process has already been completed.
Pickup in Person
If you choose this option the funds will be available for pickup at a OnlineNepal.Net branch . A valid Government issued ID will be required in order to pickup the funds. We also take digital pictures of the person receiving the funds and send it to you by email as confirmation of delivery. OnlineNepal.Net will call the recipient to arrange for pickup at the most convenient location for him/her two-three days after the completion of the account information verification process. Remember, if you are a repeat customer the account information verification process has already been completed.
Home Delivery
If you choose this option the funds will be delivered directly to the recipient after completion of the account information verification process. Currently, home delivery service is only available in the Greater Kathmandu valley.

Remember, if you are a repeat customer the account information verification process has already been completed. If the recipient does not reside in one of the regions above you must choose the direct deposit or cash pick-up option.
TYPE OF TRANSACTION
Credit and Debit Cards
You can send a remittance on OnlineNepal.Net by using a valid MasterCard, Visa or Debit card. Please note that the transaction time will begin on the day the credit or debit card transaction information is entered into the OnlineNepal.Net system. The transaction, however, must be entered by 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). If not, the transaction will begin processing the following business day. Please keep in mind that an additional 3.15% surcharge will be added to the amount you are sending.
Bank Account
You can send a remittance on OnlineNepal.Net by using an electronic draft from an account you maintain at a United States-based bank. Please note that the transaction time will begin on the day the bank account transaction information is entered into the OnlineNepal.Net system. The transaction, however, must be entered by 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). If not, the transaction will begin processing the following business day.
Holidays and Weekends
Please note that transactions submitted into the OnlineNepal.Net system during the weekend or a United States bank holiday will be processed the next business day. Also, please note that funds are not disbursed to your recipient in the Nepal through direct deposit, cash pick-up or courier delivery on weekends and during official holidays of Nepal.

You can verify the status of your money remittance at any time by logging into your account with the email address you used during registering on our website. The link to log on is available here. Additionally, we will immediately send you an email confirmation regarding each step of your transaction until completion.
